Sameera is a Ph.D.-trained scientist and senior strategic grant consultant with more than a decade of research experience and a strong record of securing non-dilutive funding across NIH, NSF, DoD, DOE, and USDA programs. She has worked with more than 100 startups, small businesses, universities, and collaborative teams to win awards ranging from $175K seed stage projects to $100M federal initiatives, including a landmark $100M DOE award. She began her career as a molecular biologist, building deep technical expertise in plant biotechnology and life sciences. Today, she applies that foundation to help innovative teams position their technologies effectively within competitive federal funding programs. Known for her strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach, Sameera partners closely with founders, executives, and technical leads to clarify strategy, align projects with agency priorities, and manage complex proposal efforts. She is valued for her ability to synthesize technical detail into compelling narratives while keeping teams organized, collaborative, and on track. She supports clients across diverse technology sectors and is particularly passionate about advancing innovation in agtech, environmental solutions, clean energy, and sustainability, helping promising ideas translate into meaningful real-world impact.
