SMS Communications

1. What We Collect

When you sign up for BW&CO Funding Alerts, we collect your mobile number, name and email address, the date and time you agreed, the web form and consent wording you saw, how you signed up, and technical details from the sign-up (such as IP address and browser). We also keep records of the texts we send you, your replies, and any opt-out request.

2. Consent

We send marketing texts only to people who check the SMS consent box on one of our web forms. Giving us your phone number on its own, for example on a contact or booking form, is not consent to marketing texts. If you book a consultation and give us your number, we may text you reminders about that consultation, with no promotional content. See our SMS Terms for program details.

3. How We Use It

We use this information to send the texts you asked for (funding deadline alerts and consultation reminders), to answer your replies, to honor opt-outs, and to keep records showing that you agreed to receive texts.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that help us send and manage texts (such as our CRM and messaging provider, HubSpot, text message aggregators and mobile carriers), who may use it only to provide those services to us, and when required by law or to protect our legal rights. Text opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this Privacy Policy, including in a merger or acquisition, except to a business that takes over this text program.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep consent and opt-out records, and logs of the texts we send, for at least five years after your last text from us or your opt-out, so we can show what you agreed to. After that we delete or anonymize them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

6. Your Choices

To opt out, reply STOP to any text, email info@bwcoconsulting.com, or call 713-364-4447. Opting out of texts does not affect your use of our other services. To ask for a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of your information, email info@bwcoconsulting.com. If you ask us to delete it, we may keep a minimal record of your opt-out so that we don't text you again.

We will post any changes to our text practices in this policy and update the date at the top of this page.
