Restricted Entity Screening Tool

Type the name of a university, hospital, CRO, CDMO, contract manufacturer, supplier, distributor, subawardee or research collaborator. It is screened against the U.S. government restricted party lists that federal agencies use in foreign disclosure and risk reviews of SBIR/STTR and other federal awards.

Partial names work. Aliases, acronyms, common transliterations and typos are matched.

Coverage — what this tool screens, and what it does not

Got a hit — or an unclear one?

BW&CO structures foreign disclosure and risk-management responses for SBIR/STTR and other federal applicants: mitigation plans, subaward and CRO substitutions, and the documentation program officers actually want to see.

Screening aid only. This tool consolidates publicly available U.S. government lists and is provided for preliminary due-diligence purposes. The official lists are the controlling sources and may be amended at any time; a listing can appear or change after the data date shown above. A result of “no match” is not a determination that an entity is unrestricted, and this tool does not screen individuals except where a list names them — the Entity List does, the other eight do not — and it does not screen beneficial ownership or parent and subsidiary relationships beyond those named in the source lists. Nothing here is legal advice. Verify every result against the primary source before relying on it in a federal application or disclosure.
